The LDTD Technology

The LDTD (Laser Diode Thermal Desorption) is an ion source for mass spectrometry. This ion source works without any LC apparatus reducing significantly the solvent consumption making it "green by nature".  It is based on a shotgun approach and uses the separation power of the mass spectrometer to obtain the same results as any LC-MS/MS analysis.  However, the LDTD-MS/MS is 10 to 100 times faster than any LC-MS/MS analysis methods.
