Phytronix Technologies Inc.is pleased to announce that the company settles down in its new production plant in December 2010. This will support the growth of sales of Phytronix's Laser Diode Thermal Desorption Ion Source.  Groundbreaking is set for the second quarter of 2010.

The LDTD Technology working in tandem with Mass Spectrometer (MS/MS) is geared towards high throughput applications in drug discovery research, toxicology, forensics, food safety and environmental monitoring.

Located in the Québec Metro High Tech Park, the new facility will incorporate a modern demonstration Lab, a fully automated production line to manufacture the LazWell-96 and LazWell-384 plates and a new LDTD^® assembly line.

This new plant will triple capacity of production and confirms our progression.  The world of high throughput analysis in Mass Spectrometry is changing and now, the LDTD technology is accepted as a major player by the scientific community said Jean Lacoursière, Phytronix's President.
