In 2006, Phytronix Technologies Inc. launched the first ionization source able to fully analyze a sample in less than 10 seconds by mass spectrometry. Since that time, Phytronix is a leader in the Ultra-High Throughput technology for mass spectrometry.
This innovative design is based on a shotgun approach where the sample is introduced in the mass spectrometer by a rapid laser thermal desorption process and is ionized by an Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Reactions (LDTD-APCI).
